Family of 3 renovate their guest house, kitchen, and 10 year daughter’s bathroom/ laundry hall.
Kathryn was involved as the Designer, Project Manager, & Site Supervisor from conceptual stage through project completion (2021-2022).

Purpose was to update the bathroom aesthetically and to separate the laundry area from the daughter’s bathroom.

Kathryn’s participation:
Hand sketched conceptual ideas, designed floor plans, elevations, and 3D perspective views in SketchUp for both in-house review and presentation to homeowner.
Managed & mentored Design Intern. Engaged her with site visits, measuring, listening & creating vision boards, hand sketching preliminary design ideas & transferring concept to SketchUp using company practices.
Collaborated with architects, engineers and customers to quickly resolve planning and construction issues on projects.
Created construction schedule "war board" fit with a Gantt chart, scheduled contractors, selection lists, budget decisions, deadlines, & updated as job progressed.
Conducted daily inspections of job sites for quality & achievement of project milestones. Corrected subcontractors when errors on site occur. Communicated daily progress and incident reports to clients and office team via Buildertrend.
Resolved work issues and team conflicts to promote progress on complex projects.
Prepared cost estimates for million dollar projects. Reviewed budget and subcontractor estimates in detail and analyzed for accuracy with scope of work relevancy in mind.
Implemented new processes and procedures to streamline operations at Hull Millwork including schedule boards, new project forms, progress charts, & RFI forms.
Managed Hull Millworks incoming projects, quality control, gathering necessary information, customer service, site visits for measuring & verifying information.
Hull Homes & Hull Millworks only dual employee, wearing multiple hats and acting as mediator and cheerleader for all, through difficult times and times of celebration.
Created lasting relationships with clients that transcends a job position.
