Everyday at Brazos Valley Cheese in Waco, Texas, fresh farm milk is transformed into gourmet cheese and aged in an underground cheese cave. Their cheese has won 1st place awards across the country.
There was an opportunity to transform the neighboring open landscape into an oasis for the public. A true farm to table dining experience.
Kevin Durkin, the driving visionary and owner of Brazos Valley Cheese and founder of Heritage Restorations had disassembled an 18th century barn, and planned to repurpose and restore the historic timber frame. It would be raised once again, along with an old glass greenhouse framing a live oak tree in the landscape design.
